    Math

Dunlap school is in the fifth year of using the math program Everyday Math. This math program was adopted by the district and is being taught in every elementary school in the district. Everyday Math is distinguished by its focus on real-life problem solving, balance between whole-class and self-directed learning, emphasis on communication, facilitation of school-family cooperation, and appropriate use of technology. Classroom teachers will be sending home more information on this program and websites where students can work at home to sharpen their skills when not in class.
