Starting 2019, families will see a few updates to the student progress reports that help teachers share information about students' developing social-emotional skills, learning readiness, and progress toward grade-level standards.

Seattle Public Schools strives to provide safe learning environments, curriculum that incorporates a student’s life experiences and culture, and instruction delivered by high-quality, culturally responsive educators.

The student progress report updates will offer a better insights into social-emotional skills and how they prepare students to meet academic standards for English or language arts, math, science, social studies, physical education and arts.
